I love my body because it gives me the abilities in life to move, think and rest. My body allows me to do the things that I love like sports, learning and expressing my opinions. But the main reason that I love my body is that it is who I am, it is one of a kind. No one else is like me, they might be similar, but there will never be another body like mine with the same abilities and that’s a beautiful thing. It determines what I do, how I think and how I eat and so far I love what my body has done and where it has brought me. And I look forward to see where it will take me next.

I love that I have the athletic ability to tumble and dance. I love that I can
help others in rebuilding homes and other community services. Being able to use my hands to help someone get back on their feet after a disaster- it is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. Being able to flip around in the air makes me so happy, and I appreciate that my body is capable of that. I love that I can use my brain to play hard games, and learn new things. Being able to think about something can be so life changing and I appreciate the normal healthy brain that God has provided me with. I love that I can use both my body and mind to worship and give thanks to my God for my body.

I love my body’s ability to heal and help me recover from the knee injury that I’m dealing with. I love my knees for all that I’ve put them through- walking, dancing and running. I love my brain because it help me control what I do every day, and it helps me formulate new strategies and ideas.
I am so lucky to have a body that supports me in everything that it does, and even though it may get tired sometimes, and even though I am dealing with an injury right now, I love it unconditionally.

I love my arms and hands because they allow me to do so many things on a daily basis. I also love my body because it allows me to exercise, move around, and express my emotion through my physical behavior. I also love knowing every day when I wake up in the morning, I can move around and help make someone’s life easier that day. Another reason why I love my body is that I can express my emotions using my face : )
