Fundraise for WithAll
Rally your people. Fight eating disorders.
DIY fundraisers let you raise funds your way, turning your hobbies, interests, and community into real support for WithAll’s work.
Fundraising brings people together to accomplish more than we ever could alone.
It raises awareness about eating disorders, reduces stigma, and helps us feel less alone while providing real resources that support recovery today and prevention for the next generation.
Thank you for exploring how you can bring this work to your community.
We’re here to support you and make your fundraiser as easy and impactful as possible. Let’s get started.
Your Fundraising How-To Guide
You don’t need a big event or a perfect plan to fundraise for WithAll. Start where you are, choose what fits, and follow the steps below.
Quick steps overview:
Step 1: Decide how you’ll fundraise
Choose a format that fits your life, your community, and your capacity. There’s no right or wrong choice.
Host an Online Fundraiser
Invite friends and family to support your fundraiser through social media or email. We’ll make it easy with templates and your own personal fundraising page.
Here are some occasions that can be a nice tie-in:
- Your birthday
- A meaningful date in your recovery journey
- Eating Disorders Awareness Week (the last week of February)
- World Health Day (April 7)
- Mental Health Awareness Month (May)
- International No Diet Day (May 6)
- Word Eating Disorders Action Day (June 2)
- World Mental Health Day (October 10)
- Give to the Max Day – WithAll Board will match donations! (third Thursday of November)
- Giving Tuesday – WithAll Board will match donations! (first Tuesday of December)
Host an Event or Party
Whether it’s a book club, game night, or birthday celebration, your next gathering can be a chance to do good, raise awareness, and invite others into this work.
If you’d like to connect your event more closely to WithAll’s mission, try one of these ideas:
- Write notes of encouragement for recovery and send them to WithAll, and we’ll make sure they reach our grantees.
- Watch our 3 Simple Shifts video to learn why this work matters and to support body-confident kids.
- Start a What to Say for Me book club and conversation about food, bodies, and health. We’re happy to answer questions from your group.
Participate in a Fitness Challenge
Walk, run, ski, bike, or move your body in a way that feels good to you.
Here are a few ways to fundraise through movement:
- Walk, run, or roll toward a personal goal
Choose a distance, event or timeframe and invite your community to sponsor your movement—by the mile, minute, or milestone. - Host a group class or partner with a local studio
Lead a yoga class, hike, or workout—or team up with a gym or studio to donate class fees or host a give-back event. - Create a team challenge
Rally friends, coworkers, or teammates to move together toward a shared fundraising goal.
A gentle note: If movement has ever felt complicated or hard in your relationship with your body, please approach this option with care, and feel free to choose a different fundraising idea that feels more supportive.
Sell Services or Merch
Bake sales, crafts, art, consulting, or creative offerings. Ideas include:
- Host a bake, craft or garage sale
Sell homemade goods, handmade, or second-hand items and donate proceeds to WithAll. - Offer your skills or services
Tutor, coach, consult, design, or offer lessons, with fees supporting the fundraiser. - Partner with a small business
Donate a portion of sales for a day, week, or special promotion.
Step 2: Set a goal
Setting a clear goal helps people understand what they’re supporting, how their gift makes a difference, and can motivate both supportive and friendly generosity.
It also helps you think through simple, realistic ways to get there.
Example goal (and proof it’s possible)
$500 provides a month of groceries to one individual waiting for the support they need to pursue treatment for a life-threatening eating disorder.
One way that $500 could come together through your network might look like this:
- A personal gift of $25
- Your partner or roommate giving $50
- Three friends or family members giving $35 each
- Six coworkers or neighbors giving $20 each
- Sharing your fundraiser on social media with a personal note $100 total
- Send a few personal emails or texts to extended friends or colleagues $100 total
Want to make your goal even more personal?
If this goal—or $1,000 to help provide housing support for one applicant—feels meaningful to you, WithAll would love to support you in making it more personal for you and your donors.
We can share a quote from an applicant about what this support would mean to them and follow up after your fundraiser with a thank-you note showing how your gift made a difference.
Once you’re ready to bring your ideas to life, we invite you to connect with us at hello@withall.org.
We'd love to support your efforts with ideas to make things easier, help amplify your fundraiser, and share a small thank-you gift along the way.
Step 3: Create your fundraising page
A fundraising page gives people a clear, easy way to support your fundraiser and see the impact they’re making together.
All donations go directly to WithAll, ensuring gifts are secure and used for the work you care about.
The tools below make setting up your page straightforward and supported. Click to get started.
Step 4: Spread the word
Now it’s time to invite people in. Send the emails. Share on social.
Tell your people why this matters to you. This is where your fundraiser really comes to life.
People are more likely to give when they understand why you care. Sharing your story, briefly and honestly, goes a long way.
Our fundraising guide includes simple templates to help make it easy.

Step 5: Wrap it up & say thanks
You did it! You showed up, invited people in, and helped move this work forward. Take a moment to celebrate! Then take care of these final steps to close things out.
1. Sending proceeds
- If donations were made through your online fundraising page:
You’re all set. Funds have been securely sent to WithAll, and your donors received their tax-deductible receipt at the time of their gift. - If any donations were made in person:
Please send those contributions to WithAll so we can ensure donors receive proper documentation. Email hello@withall.org and we’ll help you find the easiest way to do this.
2. Thanking supporters
This part matters. A simple, genuine thank-you helps donors feel appreciated and connected to the impact they helped make possible.
Your message doesn’t need to be long or formal. A quick text, email, note, or social post, especially when it’s timely and personal, goes a long way. WithAll will send official receipts, and our fundraising guide includes easy thank-you templates to help you follow up.
