Tatyana Bidopia
B.S., Clinical Psychology PhD Student
Tatyana Bidopia, MA, is a Doctoral Candidate in the Clinical Psychology PhD Program at Fordham University. Her research interests include understanding sociocultural risk and protective factors for eating disorders and body image concerns in marginalized populations.
She is also passionate about increasing the accessibility of culturally-responsive, evidence-based treatments for eating disorders. During her free time, she loves to read, try new restaurants in NYC, and hang out with her cat, Guava.

Maggie Cochrane
M.A., CMPC Student
Maggie Cochrane, M.A., is the founder and principal mental performance consultant at Thrive Mental Performance Consulting, where she specializes in addressing the psychological needs of athletes and performers to enhance their mental resilience and overall development. With a deep understanding of sport psychology, Maggie offers tailored strategies that support both personal growth and performance excellence.
Maggie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from DePauw University, followed by a Master’s in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Her graduate research focused on critical areas such as perfectionism in athletes, the psychological aspects of returning to play after injury, and body image issues within the context of sport. Her capstone thesis, “How What Coaches Say Influences Athletes’ Relationships with Food and Body,” examined the impact of coaching language on athletes’ body image and was incorporated into an educational program for youth coaches through WithAll.
In addition to her consulting work, Maggie serves as the club director for a youth volleyball program in Edina and coaches the boys’ volleyball team at Edina High School in Edina, Minnesota.
Through her roles as both a coach and a consultant, Maggie is committed to empowering youth athletes in their relationship with their bodies and educating coaches about the profound influence their words and actions can have on the mental well-being of young athletes.

Alexandra Evanson
RD
Alexandra Evanson is currently a Registered Dietitian in the eating disorder unit at Sanford Health with responsibility for organizing nutrition plans, working with children and adults on their path to recovery, and patient advocacy. Prior to Sanford Health, Alexandra worked for Concordia College’s residential dining services as a Residential Dining Manager, establishing meal plans and helping students with good nutritional practices.
Passionate about helping others achieve the quality of life they desire and deserve. As a four-year letterer as a college athlete in soccer, she experienced the greater heights that could be achieved by collaborating and working together. It takes a community for all of us to reach our potential, and she is very enthusiastic about doing her part to make it happen for as many as possible.Alexandra received her bachelor’s degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, and a Master of Science, Dietetics/Dietitian from Concordia College. She is a registered and licensed dietitian and holds a SERV Safe certification from the National Restaurant Association. She is also a certified yoga instructor, a youth girls soccer coach, and lives in Fargo, ND, with her husband and daughter.Â

Laura Hooper
PhD, MS, RD
Dr. Hooper is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Adolescent Medicine and the Division of Children’s Health Services Research at Indiana University. She is a registered dietitian, health equity scholar, and translational scientist. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on improving health outcomes and decreasing barriers to health related to disordered eating, nutrition, physical activity, and weight in diverse populations of adolescents and young adults. Her current work uses solutions-oriented approaches and aims to decrease weight stigma experienced by adolescents and young adults in healthcare settings, in partnership with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Jillian Lampert
PhD, MPH, RD, LD, FAED
Dr. Lampert is the Vice President, Communications and Brand for Accanto Health, the parent company of The Emily Program and Gather Behavioral Health. She has 30 years of experience in the field of eating disorders as a clinician, leader, speaker, advocate, and researcher in the field of eating disorders, working across all levels of care and multiple care settings.
Additionally, Dr. Lampert is Co-Founder and President of the REDC, the national consortium representing eating disorders care focused on treatment standards, best practices, access to care, and collaborative research, and past Treasurer and current Board Member of the Eating Disorders Coalition, a DC-based national organization for eating disorders policy and advocacy. She holds an adjunct graduate faculty position in the Department of Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota, where she advises graduate students and teaches courses on eating disorder management.Â
Dr. Lampert completed her doctorate degree in Nutrition and Epidemiology and Master of Public Health degree in Public Health Nutrition at the University of Minnesota. She earned a Master of Science degree in Nutrition at the University of Vermont and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics. She has an expansive range of policy, clinical, research, education, teaching, and program development experience in the area of eating disorders.Â
Dr. Lampert has served on the Board of Directors of the Academy for Eating Disorders and as co-chair of the Academy for Eating Disorders Nutrition Special Interest Group. She is a Fellow of the Academy for Eating Disorders (FAED) and a member of the Academy for Nutrition and Dietetics, and BHN (Behavioral Health Nutrition) dietetic practice group. Dr. Lampert is the author of numerous book chapters and articles addressing the nutritional treatment of eating disorders, body image, sports participation, adolescent health, and disordered eating, and she regularly speaks regionally and nationally on numerous eating disorder-related topics.
One of her primary goals in life is to have young people and those who love them have confident, loving relationships with their bodies and themselves.

Katie Loth
PhD, MS, RD
Katie Loth, PhD, MPH, RD, is an associate professor and associate vice chair for faculty affairs at the University of Minnesota Medical School in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. Dr. Loth is both a researcher and a practicing clinical dietitian. Her research explores social and environmental influences on child and adolescent dietary intake, eating behaviors, weight status, and disordered eating behaviors. Specifically, she is interested in identifying ways that parents and primary care providers can work to help the children in their care develop and maintain a healthy relationship with food and with their bodies.
Dr. Loth provides nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy to patients of all ages at M Physicians Broadway Family Medicine Clinic. She is also on the faculty for the North Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program, where she helps to train residents on topics related to medical nutrition therapy.

Charlotte Markey
PhD
Charlotte Markey, Ph.D., has been a psychology professor at Rutgers University since 2002. She is a research scientist who has published over 100 scholarly articles and chapters about health issues.Â
Dr. Markey is also an experienced book author, having most recently published The Body Image Book series (The Body Image Book for Girls in 2020; The Body Image Book for Boys in 2022, and Adultish: The Body Image Book for Life in 2024). She also recently co-edited the 3-volume Encyclopedia of Mental Health (2023). She writes regularly for news outlets such as Psychology Today and is often interviewed for TV, news articles, and podcasts, including the NY Times, Washington Post, NPR, and NBC.Â

Rasa Troup
MS, RD, CSSD, LD, OLY
Rasa Troup is a veteran sports dietitian in private practice. Some of Rasa’s former experiences in sports and performance nutrition come from her past work with the University of Minnesota Athletics, The Emily Program (eating disorder clinic), Viverant (PT clinic), the Minnesota Vikings, the Minnesota Twins, and the University of Minnesota Physicians. Rasa is a Registered Dietitian with her Master of Science degree in Nutrition and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Physiology from the University of Minnesota. Â
Rasa is a Board-Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD), an ISAK 2 Certified Anthropometrist, and an Olympian (OLY). She has been working in nutrition for over 20 years and values her variety of experiences in the field of nutrition. These experiences have led her to practice an anti-diet approach with humans in various walks of life and athletes of all abilities, from amateur to professional.Â
Rasa’s passion is to bring more joy, kindness, compassion, and love to human lives by showing respect and care for, and attunement with, the inner wisdom and inner values of all human bodies, all human abilities, all our communities, and our planet. Rasa is grounded in practicing nutrition using a non-diet, weight-inclusive, trauma-informed, and body trust-informed approach.  It is important for Rasa to practice inclusivity, curiosity, and a respectful perspective toward all humans, to their lived experiences, to their culture, and to their upbringing. Rasa is committed to practicing bravery by standing up and speaking up for injustice in her practice and everyday living.

Kelsey Varzeas
PhD
Kelsey A. Varzeas (she/her/hers), PhD, LMHC, CMPC, is a clinician and research scientist dedicated to better understanding the unique social, cultural, psychological, and relational stressors that athletes face. Dr. Varzeas specializes in the treatment and research of eating disorders/disordered eating, body image dissatisfaction and disturbances, and the psychological risk factors and repercussions of Low Energy Availability (LEA) and Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (REDs) with those who identify as athletes. While she works with all genders, Dr. Varzeas has a keen interest in investigating and supporting the experiences of girls and women in sport.
Dr. Varzeas completed her PhD in Educational Studies from The Ohio State University, defending her dissertation titled, “Thinness is Far Too Glorified”: Stories of Stress, Coping, and Body Image as Told by Female Collegiate Endurance Athletes. While completing the final years of her PhD, Dr. Varzeas worked as the lead clinician for Monte Nido Walden’s GOALS Program, an intensive outpatient program for athletes with eating disorders. Following the completion of her doctorate, Dr. Varzeas began her postdoctoral training with Louisiana State University’s (LSU) Pennington Biomedical Research Center’s (PBRC) Behavior Technology Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Tiffany Stewart, where she continues to work today. Dr. Varzeas received her Master of Education degree in Counseling with a specialization in Sport and Performance Psychology from Boston University. Upon graduation from Boston University, Kelsey became a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC), which demonstrates the highest standards of professional practice for sport and performance psychology consultants.
Dr. Varzeas is committed to destigmatizing mental health in the current culture and sporting world as a clinician, researcher, and consultant for various projects and programs. In addition to her professional, scholarly, and clinical lives, you will most certainly find Kelsey in the outdoors. As a nature lover, she finds great pleasure expressing herself through downhill skiing, hiking, running, and other active pursuits. She honors the importance of rest and recovery through reading, laughing, and frequenting farmers’ markets.

Lesley Williams
MD
Lesley Williams, MD, is a family medicine physician with a specialty interest in integrated physical and mental health at the Mayo Clinic.
Her clinical focus includes the promotion of weight-inclusive care; comprehensive medical consultations for eating disorder patients; partnering with patients to reach their individual health and wellness goals; empowering patients to understand their illness and advocate for their healthcare needs; and more.
In addition to her clinical activities, Dr. Williams is active in research and education as well as providing mentorship to medical students. She also authors expert content on topics involving eating disorders, diversity & inclusivity promotion, and stigma prevention in Healthcare.
