An Update on WithAll’s Next Chapter

Dear WithAll Friends,

We’re writing today with two notes about WithAll’s leadership and what’s ahead: one from Lisa and one from Ali, our Board Chair.

A note from Lisa:

I’m writing with a personal update.

As of September 11, I’ve stepped down as WithAll’s Executive Director to take an unexpected opportunity that joins my legal background with the work of helping people affected by eating disorders.

I want to be direct about why I was able to accept this opportunity: you. Us. All of us. We’ve worked together to build something that’s serving hundreds of people every year who need it most: those with eating disorders in intensive-level treatment who need a little financial help so they can stay in treatment and continue to heal.

We’re helping thousands of adult caregivers support millions of young people to feel good in their bodies and with food, kids who, because of that work, have less risk of ever developing an eating disorder, because the adults who care for them made their environment safer and healthier. None of that happens without you.

Lindsay Crye, who has led alongside me for the past nine years and has been a driving force behind WithAll’s momentum, will serve as Interim Executive Director while the Board searches for our next permanent leader. Lindsay will be exceptional in this role.

I’ll be supporting WithAll part-time as an independent contractor through December to help make this a smooth handoff, and I’ll continue to be a champion for WithAll, just in new ways.

With gratitude,

A note from Ali:

On behalf of the WithAll Board of Directors, I want to share where WithAll is headed and why we feel confident in what’s ahead.

At the heart of our work is something simple: every young person deserves a healthy relationship with food and their body, and everyone in treatment deserves the chance to stay and recover.

Long before this transition, WithAll had begun a strategic planning process to sharpen where we can make our greatest difference for those we serve, so we can reach even more of the kids and people who need us.

This transition doesn’t change that direction. Lindsay has been the driving force behind this work all along, and this fall, she’ll share more, including how you can join us in bringing it to life.

We’re grateful for your continued partnership as WithAll steps into this next chapter. This work only happens because people like you make sure no one facing an eating disorder has to face it alone, and that’s exactly what has us excited for what’s ahead.

With gratitude,
