About Live Brave

Experience the energy, excitement and competition of the Live Brave 5K and 1 Mile races on Saturday, August 8, 2026 in beautiful Woodbury, MN.

All ages and abilities welcome!

Walk or run for a great cause and then enjoy finish line food, refreshments, sponsor demonstrations, entertainment from DJ Ray Mills, and awards & prizes.

Kids 12 & under run free in the mile! Sign up your whole family for a morning of movement and fun!

Live Brave exists to bring our community together in support of youth mental health, with a specific focus on eating disorder prevention and recovery.

In 2026, we are proud to partner exclusively with WithAll, a nonprofit dedicated to providing critical education, prevention resources, and recovery support to individuals and families affected by eating disorders. We have been donating to WithAll since the race’s inception in 2021.

Participants register and donate via the Live Brave Fund, part of the Woodbury Community Foundation. After covering the costs of producing the event, net proceeds are distributed to the WithAll Organization.

When you register, you’re not just signing up for a race — you’re helping create a stronger, more supported future for young people in our community.

We provide practical resources for adult role models to learn What to Say to support eating disorder prevention and offer recovery support grants to reduce financial barriers to treatment.
